The starting point
The company wasn't dealing with people on a single production line, but with employees constantly on the move. Business trips were originally approved by email or on paper, and with such a dispersed team this approach hit its natural limits: it caused unnecessary waiting for signatures and slowed down the flow of information.
The solution
